Here lies in earth a root of Hell,

Set by the Diel’s ain bible;

This worthless body damn’d himself,

To save the Lord the trouble.

  1. Thanks for sharing. Suicides were treated shockingly by our standards. They were buried outside church walls, at crossroads so their souls wandered, and where the sun never shone…..
